.LETS TAKE A LOOK AT: HOW ''BIBLICALLY''--THE ;JOURNEY' OF OUR LIFE SHOULD BE PATTERENED. ITS FOCUS AND EXAMPLES; TO BE SEEN IN THIS WORLD IN WHICH WE LIVE. THE VERSES BELOW APPLY TO US TODAY.
JEREMIAH 6:13-17 -13--'' For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely. 14-They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace. 15- Were they ashamed when they had committed abo mination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: athe time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the Lord. 16-Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.17- Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.
2 rimothy 3:1- '' This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. ` __----VERSE 10-- But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me .12- Yea, and all that will live godly in MESSIAH shall suffer persecution.13 -But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.14 -continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15- And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in MESSIAH. 16- All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
AS PAUL TEACHES; ALL SCRIPTURE-----IS GIVEN AS AN EXAMPLE OF ''RIGHT-LIVING''--AS INSTRUCTED BY OUR BLESSED FATHER AND MESSIAH. AS PROVEN. MESSIAH DID NOT CHANGE THE COMMANDMENTS. MATTHEW 5:17------JOHN 14:15--''IF YE LOVE ME, KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS'' OUR JOURNEY MUST BE BASED ON THE SCRIPTURES, NOT SOCIETY, NOR THE WAYS OF THE WORLD......
1 JOHN 2; 15-17-..'''LOVE NOT THE WORLD, NEITHER THE THINGS THAT ARE IN THE WORLD; IF ANY MAN LOVE THE WORLD THE LOVE OF THE FATHER IS NOT IN HIM''
DEUTERONOMY 30: 19 -''I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: 20-That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.'' ------ THIS VERSE DOES NOT JUST REFER TO THE LAND OF ISRAEL, BUT TO WHEREVER THE ALMIGHTY CHOSE FOR US TO LIVE.
OUR JOURNEY, IF WE HAVE CHOSEN A WRONG DIRECRION, OR IF WE HAVE STRAYED FROM THE RIGHT PATH: CAN BE CHANGED, AND SET BACK, THE BLESSED ALMIGHTY HAS GIVEN US THE CHANCE TO REPENT AND COME BACK TO HIM HALLELUYAH !! THE HOLY SPIRIT GIVES US ''POWER'' TO CHANGE FOR THE BETTER IF: ''IF'' WE WILL GIVE HIM THE AUTHORITY OVER OUR LIFE, GIVE ATTENTION TO HIS WORD, AND FOLLOW MESSIAH.---OH THE JOY THAT HE BRINGS.
2 CHRONUCLES 7:14--'' 14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
